Every day stress can cause health problems and emotional breakdowns. And you know that there isn't time for such things whether you are a mother or not.
Exactly a year ago I was on the verge of a breakdown with work and home life responsibilities I felt that there was no time left for me. I felt so helpless to the point that I understood for the first time how it is that people find refuge in alcohol and/or drugs. Needless to say, I did neither as I saw no need to harm myself or my family.
Prior to this lapse I had heard of the Art of Living foundation and how the yoga breathing techniques they teach help reduce stress and improve health. So, as desperate as I felt I gave it a shot. It was the best six days I had experienced in years. I learned how to let go of all our tension, stress, anger, sadness, and depression. By the end of the course I could see clearly and felt like a new woman ready to take on the world again.
It's incredible how 15 minutes a day to myself and for myself has improved my life tremendously. It's something that not even exercise can do. This is the greatest yoga course I have ever taken. I think that the best part of all is that they give you the "tools" to take home and do it yourself at home.
Yes, I still get stressed and upset and angry but now I have an outlet. I wish that that the entire world would take this course and feel as light and elated as I.
I strongly recommend it for anyone, especially if you are going through a rough patch.
