I'm so sorry--it sounds like you have had a terrible time for quite a while.
The symptoms you describe sound a lot like chronic stress. Your nerves are overly sensitive and unable to handle any more stimulation. Your metabolism and hormones are probably wacky because of the chronic stress. In short, it sounds like your body has had enough.
If this state continues, you are right to be concerned that your body will not continue to function well. Eventually chronic stress can take its toll and you can experience other health conditions.
But even more than that, living like this is not fun.
Your love of landscaping and gardening is a great place to start to rejuvenate yourself. Whenever possible, immerse yourself in nature and let it lift your mood and begin to heal yourself. As I'm sure you know, your worries will fall aside when you are tending the garden.
Coming back from chronic stress can be a slow process, especially if you don't have a lot of support from home, but it is not impossible. Continue to rely on your counseling and whatever other support you have. Ask your garden to help you. Be patient with yourself. And you will find that gradually, the stress will lift.
The body has an amazing ability to heal. All is not lost. You will feel happiness again.
You are doing everything right. Rely on your plants and you will begin to feel normal again.
